Well the week flew by with the MLK break and the snow days. I hope that you all stayed safe and warm during the unexpected break. This week we continued our work on 13 colony investigation projects. The students are finished with their research and note taking and are working on formatting the information into a visual poster.
Next Week:
We will be starting our unit on figurative language. Students will focus on finding meaning of figurative language in all types of writing with a focus on poetry. We will also be turning in our investigations next week for a grade. It will be worth 100 points.
Reminders:
- If you have any box tops around your house make sure to bring them in for STUCO
- 1/29/16 is Decade Day
