Happy Friday,
This week we are working on our new units in both reading and writing. We are now focusing on informational writing and nonfiction reading. The students started by researching and writing a paragraph explaining the election process in the US. They did a great time wrapping their minds around such a confusing process with the electoral college. In reading we started talking about nonfiction text features and they created their own book pages to show examples. Next week I will be attaching pictures of them.

Camdenton is TOMORROW! Be ready to leave at 11 AM at Upper Elementary. I will be there around 10:30 under the pick up line area. Bring a snack (or concession money) and your Tshirt! We are so excited to have a fun day!
