Parents,

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week. We are diving in deep this week in ELA. We are fully involved in both Social Studies and our Reading unit. They have started a research project over regional Native Americans in which they will create a presentation and learn the practical skills of presenting information to peers in effective ways.

Reminders:

• A "Reading Expectations" sheet was sent home Thursday. It is due back signed Monday
• Student assignment books should be filled out daily and are a great way to know what they are learning about in classes.

Next Week:

• Presentations over Native Americans
• Focus on Parts of Speech: Nouns and Verbs
• Compare and Contrasting characters and character changes over time.
