Happy Spring Break,
This week has been a very eventful here at Ozark Upper. The students got the chance to learn a lot about what next year will be like for them. This school will become Ozark Middle School. They learned about their schedules and class options. In ELA they focused on their essays and main idea. Book clubs also have started to finish up for this round. A new one will start after spring break. Students also got rewarded on Friday for meeting their book goals for the quarter. The goal was 4 books. Along with reading the books the students had to keep their reading log up and have journal responses for each book. This was a very difficult goal to meet this quarter and I am hoping this will help motivate more students to meet it for next quarter.
